He has a passion for writing detailed articles on important medical and health-related subjects for the benefit of his patients and fellow physicians. Dr. Muhammad Sareer Khalil was born on 31st March 1989 in Regi Aftezai, Peshawar, Pakistan. He did AskHealthMDhis matriculation from Saint Mary’s High School Peshawar in 2005. He completed his intermediate education in pre-medical group from Edwards college Peshawar in 2007. Dr. Khalil obtained his MBBS degree from Ayub Medical College in 2012. After his graduation, he worked at various hospitals in Pakistan. He joined lady reading Hospital in 2015 as part of his mandatory one year House Job and completed his rotations in General medicine, Cardiology and Intensive Care Unit. He also completed his rotations in general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery and neurosurgery. He then joined the Peoples Primary Healthcare initiative and was posted as a Medical officer in the basic health unit situated at Charpariza Union council Kaniza. He leads several polio eradication campaigns under the supervision of Govt of Pakistan, World Health Organisation, UNICEF and PPHI at the Union Council of Kaniza. Dr. Khalil gained valuable experience working independently at the peripheral basic health unit for over one year and dealt with complicated cases in adverse conditions with Limited facilities. During the same tenure, he applied for the FCPS Part 1 exam and cleared it gaining a residency slot in internal medicine with PGMI (Post Graduate Medical Institute) as part of a 4-year specialist training program. Dr. Khalil is currently a third-year postgraduate trainee and aims to educate his patients and fellow doctors through this website by posting useful and up to date information.
